Title: smart algorithm to chose best server

Well, the subj. says it all.

I think it would be nice if aMule would check from time to time of the server it's connected to is best (in terms of ping time and number of connected users) and switch to a better server.

What do you think ?

I think it would be nicer if amule could connect in multiple servers :P

I think it would be as network harmful as mldonkey to connect to mutiple servers.


(about the algorithm: changing server might make you lose sources, i.e. lowid, and I don't think auto changes are ok for this. it might have a long delay too between reconections or servers will ban you. And you will harm the network.)
