The hashing bug has been found & killed. aMule on Mac now finishes downloads and correctly hashes files.


Only GUI bugs left, and being worked. Stay tuned.

Forgive my ignorance...

What is the hashing bug?
On my imac amule just doesnt work.

At startup  I get Emule error message:

Directory " couldn't be created (error 2: No such file or directory)

And that's it. Connection to server isn't possible.

:(

What can I do to solve this?

but amule isn't that supposed to just work on a mac?

I have downloaded the .sit file from the download page.

thats an older amule version

and: amule isn't working 100% on mac yet, don't forget it plz ;)

Yes, yes, I am full of understanding, still whe I see those beautifull screenshots, I guess somebody is using it and I want to try... or are they fake?

Just a question: do I get the cvs version compiled on the mac without loading tons of libraries?

I had a look and it seems there are a quite a few that are needed

BTW are you on a mac?

How about sending me the .dmg file?

Would make things a lot easier rather than learning to use irc... :-)

just install an irc client and join the channel.. thats all ;)
