Hi,
as I try to handle ed2k links into my konqueror I try the e2k.protocol thing.
But when I sect an ed2k link, I get I security alert and nothing else....
Any idea?
Ta,
Thierry

don't worry, it's a konqueror suggestion to alter people, cause ed2k application will pass value to a not-konqueror application.
it's a warning, not a problem
it's safe to say "OK".
don't worry :=)

I don't worry at all. But even if I accept by OK, the link is not given to my aMule...

you have some problems with the ed2k link management.
check the docs included in amule or on the website.
following that...it's impossibile it fails.

hmm, i just thought: are you sure that the "ed2k" binnary isn't the one from xMule? Some ppl have had the prboblem that after switching xMule -> aMule, xMule doesn't delete the "ed2k" binnary.

i just looked at the pb .. if u click at some ed2k link (with some newer konqueror version) u'll get a security warning and nothig happens .. with older konqueror versions there was no problem with that.
a workaround for users with konqueror where it doesn't work (i hope u got the ed2k.protocol already):
just right click on the ed2k link and tell konqueror to open it in a new window.. now it works ;)
