Title: tell ed2k to target another host

hi,
i have amule running on a computer and i have anoter one that i use to browse the net.
i have gentoo linux on both. is it possible to give the "ed2k" application a further parameter (e.g. an ip address), so that when e.g. in firefox i click on an ed2k:// link, the "/usr/bin/ed2k" application redirects the query on the other computer?

i hope i made myself clear.
