More to come....

Important notices:
 * The included Crypto++ files will now be used by default, so no external Crypto++ installation is needed. To disable this default behavior, consult the configure flags.
 * RC6 adds support for the Advanced corruption handling of eMule. However this has the disadvantage of your files having to be hashed again. Thus a lot of disc-bound activity is bound to ensure depending on your number of files.
* MUCH improved Mac support. It's working great, except when it hangs for a few secconds for some people, which will be fixed in next release.

i'm waiting.

crypto++ causes an internal compiler error on my system, so the embedded feature would be nice (unless it causes internal compiler error.. that would be bad).

or maby i should fix the problem..

The package will be integrated in the debian's archive as soon as possible (in the week I think).

Hi!
Again many, many thx for aMule 2.0.0rc6. I'm following the cvs version since about a month and am totally stunned by its stability lately.
Just got rc6 source and compiled my version, I came upon a small bug in SysTray.cpp. Just wanted to tell here about it 'cause maybe someone else experiences it too.
Posted the patch here in the forum at http://www.amule.org/amule/thread.php?threadid=3627

celeron2002 : Very strange... it's IBC undefined objects...

try disabling wxcas if it helps, if not, is most surely your glibc version (or gcc)

WaRRio: RPM is for MDK 10.0, for 10.1 will be available tomorrow.

Thanks again! It working nice... the new GTK2 supported GUI is looking great and now I can use hebrew!!!! Must do the translation now (I'm the translator).
BUT... the memory use is very large-- more then 60 Megs and screen refreshing after showing some menus is very slow slow and jumpy :(.

Nice work!

I can't find wxGTK 2.5.3 neither in portage nor in http://www.wxwidgets.org.
Did you mean wxGTK CVS version ?
With wxGTK-2.5.1-r1 (the latest in portage) amule-2.0.0rc6 crashes when switching to transfers, with the following backtrace :

OOPS! - Seems like aMule crashed.
        Version is: aMule 2.0.0rc6 using wxGTK2 v2.5.1

Slackware (tested on Slack 10, probably working on the others)
Gtk1, not unicode:
amule-2.0.0rc6-i486-2.tgz (http://download.berlios.de/amule/amule-2.0.0rc6-i486-2.tgz)
wxgtk-2.5.2-i486-1.tgz (http://download.berlios.de/amule/wxgtk-2.5.2-i486-1.tgz)
And GTK2 ?? or with unicode ?

If build them with both and it doensn't work here ;(

Title: aMule 2.0.0rc6 crashes on SuSE 9.1

Hi folks!

When I install aMule 2.0.0rc6 on SuSE 9.1 it crashes after around one minute.

I installed it with wxGTK-2.5.1 and with wxGTK-2.4.2.
No difference.

Now I installed rc5 back. :-(

Has anyone made better experiences ?

Cheers!

The package will be integrated in the debian's archive as soon as possible (in the week I think).
Downloaded (couldn't apt-get despite updating my sources.list) and installed soda's amule and amule-util debs - running fine so far... Thanks soda.

Soda, please, may you tell us what to write in the aptsource list file for getting amule from your repository? It looks like thermoman will not update his repository anymore, so your repository is
the only way to get amule using apt-get for debian users.

I tried to see your web http://gunnm.org/~soda/debian but seems down.
thank you.

afaik, soda is the oficial aMule Debian packager, so it should be on the official repository after 4 days of soda releasing the package. allthough he could tell better :-/
Anyway, rc7 is out, so expect new package ;) Vollstrecker is also working on debian packages, keep a look at it.
Greetings!
