Title: how to launch amuled @ fedora boot
Post by: zeckon on December 24, 2004, 06:48:09 PM
hi all,

i have some problems with starting amuled & amuleweb at fedora boot. (core 3)

I tried adding

amuled &
amuleweb -q -pw password &

to my rc.local file.

Altough they seem to start, there is no response when i try to connect from browser.

I have no problem with both gui and daemon versions when i launch from xwindows.

thanks for your help.

ps. i couldnt find any documentation or post considering this topic. just one about vnc & amuled.

I will not work this way. rc.local run from root account. You should "su" to another user - the user you using to run amule from X.
