Title: regular saving of config files
Post by: Mr Faber on April 22, 2005, 02:33:01 PM
Is it possible to save the config files and other related things every ten minutes like emUle does. I realized it through the crashes with the latest versions. The upload amount of files didn't changed although amuled runs for over five hours.

sounds silly. just save config when it's changing (on apply preferences).

lfroen,

I think he does not mean config files. He is probably refering to the file were statistics are saved.

Mr Faber,

lfroen is right if you mean config files, but if you can enumerate the "other related things", I think we can manage to do that. Although I am out of development until probably some time after 2.0.0 is released, this should be a trivial thing.

Cheers!

Some other files like the server.met changes very often.
