Title: how do i get it to auto take ed2k links?
Post by: destructa on May 29, 2005, 12:55:54 PM
I use emule on Win XP and and it auto takes ed2k links.  Can I get amule to do the same? Or do I need to configure Mozilla to do it?  It's annoying cut and pasting all the time.

thanks.

Reading carefully the Wiki (http://wiki.amule.org/) main page would reveal this: Howto handle ed2k:// links (http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Ed2k_links_handling)

i tried the suggestions there. with mozex and without it and i could only spawn a new amule instance but it wont add a link to a running amule. whats wrong there?? its quite frustrating to add dozens of links via copy and paste... ;(

If you're spawning another aMule instance, you're duing it all wrong. Remove mozex and follow instructions for new mozilla & firefox (the about:config section)
