Hi all,
The new version 1.2.4 of aMule is out.
It's a small bugfixing release for the file completion bug while
we wait for a stable cvs to release 1.2.5.
Get it at:
http://dl.amule.org
To see Changes, go to :
http://changelog.amule.org
Hope you like!

No matter how often I refresh, I don't see the changelog for 1.2.4. Nor am I able to find it on the download page you linked to (but it's on http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/amule/ ).
-
emperor,
i wasn't at home and couldn't update the page.. i'll do it now
edit: done
-
Sorry for being impatient but it really sounded like everything was already ready to view and download. And because 1.2.31 wasn't on the download page anymore i worried something might be wrong so i thought I'd ask. Oh well I'll try to remember to wait next time...

Link to the download of the rpm is incorrect, please fix this.
It links to http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/amule/aMule-1.2.4.i586-SUSE_9.0.rpm?download , however that does not exist.
The correct URL would be http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/amule/aMule-1.2.4-1.i586-SUSE_9.0.rpm . And thanks for the new version :D

yap.. i missed a -1 .. updated too fast and bootet 8.2 without to check it :]
anyway.. both suse rpm's r up now (8.2 & 9.0) .. the 9.0 rpm should work under mdk 9.2 too (1.2.3 did) .. :))

What is the normal delay between a new release and the release of the RerHat package?
I'm new to aMule (moving from the dead xMule) but I have seen that there is still no RPM for version 1.2.3 and I have to decide if I go for the source package and compile it or wait for the RH RPM.
-
we don't provide RH rpms actually.. try to install it with rpm -Uvh --nodeps name.rpm
or let me on your pc so i can build an rpm for other RH users :)
-
I'm not able to run amule 1.2.3 or 1.2.4 on mandrake 9.2. The version 1.2.1 works perfectly. Are you going to add a rpm for mandrake 9.2 ?
-
post in help forum whats the problem gawel
-
i also added today fedora core 1 rpm :D
many thx to bisley who gave me a shell account on his pc so i could build it :)
redhat 9 rpm follows propably today
plz check the portal to dl it -> http://www.amule.org/amule/hmportal.php
€DIT: added RH 9.0 & src.rpm (thx to fluffy_ ;) )

The latest few releases have been working quite well for me. 1.2.4 still leaks memory and cpu, cpu usage is over 80% after five days uptime so there is still some work to be done here. Otherwise, keep up the good work!
-
Once again, works great under Mandrake 9.2. (And with a 2.6 kernel.) I feel so guilty to be using this client.
-
guilty? why? :P
-
added mdk 9.2 rpm.. thx to muckmuck ;)
