Title: question about compile time option..
Post by: Ateo on August 01, 2005, 01:32:12 AM
In order to make sure the ebuild I submit is good, are there any conflicting compile time options? Does --enable-optimize break anything? What about --enable-monolithic (I know it needs to be disabled for amuled)? etc...

Thanks

All --enable-optimize does is add -02, which should be safe, but it might mess with backtraces, enable-monolithic is default, and should only be disabled if you don't want the normal 'amule' executable.

So monolithic doesn't neccessarily have to be disabled if you want to use amuled as well are the regular binary?

you only need --disable-monolithic if you have wxBase installed, instead of wxGTK...

and Ateo, we have a help forum ;)
this here is the wrong place for such questions...

Thanks.. and you can't blame me for trying to squeak in a thread into the forums. :)

I posted a thread in this forum with amuled issues. Can you move that to the proper help forum... sorry.. hehe...
