I have recently changed from Win XP using emule, to linux (ubuntu) using amule.
As i has a large number of files still on download,i have copied my temp folder to my new linux partition and enabled the correct permissions.
I have set amule's temp directorty to where i have my emule part files etc.. are, but for some reason they are not being picked up in amule.
I know amule can read the emule part files since i have done it before (some 6months ago), but now i can't seem to figure it out.
Can anyone help with this please?

Did you restart amule after changing the temp directory? Is there any log message when you start amule? And did you copy both .part and .part.met?

restarted amule a few times. I copied the whole temp directory so nothing has changed there. Here is the log it seem it can find the files but can't use them.

sorted. While users had read and write permissions on the drive and in the temp folder, write permissions were not enabled on the actual temp files themselves.
Sorry.
