Post by: Timorgenius on October 19, 2005, 02:50:22 PM
Hello!
I cannot start my amule anymore (i think it is since the update from Kubuntu 5.04 to 5.10). The error i get when i start it from the console is

Code: [Select]
----------------------------=| BACKTRACE FOLLOWS: |=----------------------------
Current version is: aMule 2.0.3 using wxGTK2 v2.6.1 (Unicoded)
Running on: Linux 2.6.12-9-386 i686

QPainter::begin: Cannot paint null pixmap
QPainter::setPen: Will be reset by begin()
QPainter::setBrush: Will be reset by begin()
QPainter::setBrush: Will be reset by begin()
QPainter::setPen: Will be reset by begin()
Speicherzugriffsfehler

i already tied to search the forums but i did not find anything useful.

Thanks in advance, Hauke

Please check if wxWidgets, GTK+ and kernel  have changed version from previous installation.
If they are all same version, its strange.

this looks more like a theme error or something

did you maybe adjust teh gtk+ theme in the kde-controll center?
if you selected some qt-themes for gtk+ this does not work
