I'd appreciate a lot if at leaste rare sources would be saved. With some files it takes hours until these sources are re-detected.
Maybe an answer to blacklisting servers could be to "change my hash-id" by pressing a corresponding SHUFFLE button :)
keep on going!
thanks a million

I would like to up the "rare sources save" request.
But I am against the "change my hash-id" idea. If the server has blacklisted you, there is a reason : you're harming the edonkey network. So I don't want any way to remove this thing. And by the way, if you change your hash-id, all the credits you get from uploading will be lost. Bad idea.

When you find the first source there isn't problem, source exchange makes his magic. But sometimes this first source is incredible difficult to find.
If there is any objection because asking sources that not have the file anymore and so, it can be limited to save a max of 5-20 sources per file, this would be enough, the only problem is to connect to the first source.
Right now isn't implemented because the harm to the network or only because programmers had not enough time to do it?

I guess, it's the programmer's time that's missing ;)
well, as far as I can say, changeing the hash is bad, because the other clients know you by this hash and give you credits for your upload (emule credit system) so I'd say no
but saving some "seed" sources should be possible...
