Title: Importing filebase
Post by: ant2317 on February 26, 2006, 10:25:12 AM
Hello
I have windows-version and several files downloaded with emule.
In preferences / Directories I can rightclick to the dirs to share and after "OK" I can read this in Networks / Amul.log:
2006-02-26 10:03:24: AICH Thread: Syncronization thread started.
2006-02-26 10:03:24: AICH Thread: Masterhashes of known files have been loaded.
2006-02-26 10:03:24: AICH Thread: No new files found.
2006-02-26 10:03:24: AICH Thread: Terminated.

If I do preferences / directories again the dirs to share are unmarked
and in \amule\amule.conf there are no entrys with the names of the dirs to share.
In \amule is a file named shareddir.dat with 0 Byte...
and
known   .met        5 .a.. 26-02-2006
known2  .met 53393678 .a.. 13-12-2005
After deleting of known?.met --> the same
After saving preferences with OK I have a shareddir.dat with 112 Byte
containg my dirs to share, after leaving amule the file exists but is empty again
After saving shareddir.dat and src_ind.dat and copy it back after finsihing amule.exe and the restart of amule.exe the files are intact, but still my files
are not recognized (with reread button in "shared files")
Can you tell me the syntax for directories to share in amule.conf?

Hello

It seems, that I have to answer my question myself.

If I write in shareddir.dat:
n:/incoming
it works (at the moment there are 1800 Files hashed.

if i do it with preferences/directories it does not work
and in shareddirs.dat is something like this:
n:\incoming\
n:\incoming\.\
and so on
--> correct shareddir.dat in this way and you can share files
in other directories than the incoming dir. (under Win2K)
