Title: execute a command when finished downloading
Post by: netgas on June 26, 2006, 05:41:59 AM
Hello everyone.

i do not know much about scripting on linux and it didn't succeed to put the command directly into the amule.conf file.
I whote
ExecOnCompletionCommand=chown user:users /Incoming -R
or
ExecOnCompletionCommand=chown user:users "%FILE"
but it doens't work.

I need this, because i run amule under root and want the downloaded files to be available for users
.
Could you give me some hints
1)how to set up the example.sh and/or ExecOnCompletionCommand= ... properly
or
2)how to run amuled on linux-startup as a different user (not root, but user)

Couldn't find any help at all (google and forum)

Thank you in advance!

sorry for disturbing, i solved the problem
ExecOnCompletion was =0 :-(  :baby:

but i would be glad to know the solution via script. I put the line directly into amule.conf

Regards.

Wrong forum section. This clearly states "Questions about our board, NOT ABOUT AMULE "
