As the current default nodes.dat address is not working anymore, here's a list of (working) replacement addresses:
http://www.emule-inside.net/nodes.dat
http://download.tuxfamily.org/technosalad/utils/nodes.dat
Please feel free to add other addresses you found to be working.

this one works for me:
http://download.overnet2000.de/nodes.dat

This one doesn't work for a while...it's the old address which went offline.
(In other words: This may be the address you have set inside aMule, but you don't use it to update your nodes.dat, because you don't have to.)

There is a way to change the default nodes.dat address? ...I mean, I can update the nodes with a new address but if I close aMule when I reopen it I have the old address.
Thank you very much

Hey. I clicked on the intial link, the one in the first post here, and it came in as a download and with a .dat ending, but my VLC player was the default opener, as if I were opening a movie. I did double click it, but to no avail.
What should I do?

I reported that aMule Kad is broken, and it still seems to be. If I take nodes.dat from working eMule and move it to aMule it loads 0 nodes.
I couldn't get amule bootstrapped at all. Earlier I got it running, but after a while it lost again all contacts.
It seems that something is badly wrong with aMule Kad feature. Unfortunately. Now I need to run eMule with Wine.
