Hi,
Please find attached the po file for French with the 4 missing translations done.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
-
Merci beaucoup, I've updated the translation.
-
Here is a new version, with the two new strings translated.
-
Thanks a lot, committed.
-
Here it is once again. 10 more strings translated.
-
I've uploaded the update, thank you.
-
And once more
-
Thank you, committed.
-
There's a pretty old bug-report regarding the French translation. Can you check if it has been resolved? http://bugs.amule.org/view.php?id=927
-
The English message text has been changed to something more descriptive and the new french translation uses the proposed phrasing.
-
Here is another update.
The plural support is activated inside the translation file, but there are a few strings that did not get extracted as singular/plural pairs. Is this expected?
-
Um...I don't know. When I did the update of the German translation everything seemed fine to me. Can you give me an example of this problem?
Anyway: Thank you, I've committed the update.
-
Well, this string uses the "plural" setting :
Filestats for this session: Accepted %d of %d request, %s transferred\n
and shows up as only one entry in poEdit but with the plural tabs to allow entering what is required when there is more than 0 or 1 request.
On the other hand, this string does not use the "plural" setting :
Are you sure that you wish to delete the selected friend?
It shows up twice in the file, one for 0 or 1 friend, another one for when there are many friends to delete.
I don't know how these strings are extracted but it might well be that some are not extracted properly.
-
This is intentional. At least until someone complains that your last example cannot be properly translated to her language.
-
Ah ok, fair enough.
Please find attached an updated file
-
Updated, thanks a lot!
-
And here you go.
-
Thank you, I've committed the translation. :)
-
There you go
-
Thank you, committed.
-
here you go
-
And another update. Thank you. :)
-
Three more strings.
Just out of curiosity, what are the plans with respect to translations? It seems that new strings are added quite often. On what regular basis should I come and have a look for new translations to be made?
-
Thank you, committed.
Well, if you can check every week or every two weeks it should be ok, there shouldn't be too much to do. When we get close to a release, we'll notify all translators in time, so you don't have to worry.
kind regards
-
Ok, fair enough, I'll do this then.
-
There you go
-
Committed, thank you. :)
-
There you go. Hope it's good.
-
Thanks a lot, updated. :)
The file is perfect and I haven't checked the translations. (I haven't spoken French since the Monday before last...I'm in no condition to check anything in French...)
-
I updated the french translation for aMule SVN to fix this issue (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=369181)
-
Thanks a lot, committed. :)
P.S. Please be aware of 5 untranslated strings and one fuzzy string. I would appreciate if you could have another look at it. :)
-
I've completed the translation ;)
-
Now we have a complete translation again, thank you. :)
-
I've re-updated the translation :)

There seems to be a bug in the French translation of aMule 2.2.2:
"Shared Files" is translated to "Échec de connexion EC. Réponse vide."
Would you be as kind as to fix it, or tell me what it should be?
-
It should be fixed already in the 2.2.X tree.
-
Ok, then.
-
And here is the latest
-
And the latest is now part of aMule - thank you for the update!

Some corrections!

Hello,
Here is (as attached file) the french translation of the README.Debian of aMuled (amule-daemon).
Have a good day
-
Hi,
Please find attached the french traduction of the README.Debian of amuled amule daemon.
Have a good day
-
odlw, would you be as kind as to tell us what did you translate? Just because there's no such file in aMule sources... Moreover, this type of information is better suited for a wiki (http://wiki.amule.org/) article than for a readme file.
-
Not that I understand what is written there, but the last section of the file mentions the init script, that is shipped with official Debian or Ubuntu packages. We don't have such a script yet.
-
Tank you for the reply.
I'll send this translation to Ubuntu.
Have a good day
-
New update
I'm working on manpage translation ;-)

New update
Seems like summer hoildays make a good time for translators... Thank you, committed.
I'm working on manpage translation ;-)
I'm looking forward to it.

Another update ;-)

Good to see you around again! Nice that you found the time to also start working with the manpages. Committed, thanks.
-
New update. I will finish manpage translation this week. :)

Nice job, thank you. I'm looking forward for the completed translation.
-
French's translation is done. Many corrections in fr.po :)
-
Committed. Though I reverted some translations in the man pages, where you (accidentally) translated an amulecmd command name.
-
Thanks for these corrections.

Hi there,
The attached tarball contains fr.po with a few typo corrections and manpages-fr-test.po with just one typo fix. Minor stuff really, kudos to the translators. Assuming I didn't do anything stupid (hint: don't) the files should be based upon the latest versions from the git repo.
-
Committed the update, thanks.
-
Another update
-
Thanks. I didn't commit it though, please read http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=18806.msg102876#msg102876 and see whether it applies to your translation, too ;) (I believe it does)
-
oups it's fixed now ;)
-
(back again)
Thanks for your good work, it's now committed.
-
Done again
-
Fast as usual. October's coming, huh? Thanks for the update, committed. Hopefully it was the last before 2.3.1.
-
another translation ;-)
-
Just in time for the release.
-
Here comes the updated French translation. Happy to see there will be a new release soon, thanks a lot!
-
Thank you very much for your contribution, in the name of all French people :)
-
Just noticed on http://amule.sourceforge.net/translations/translations.xml that there were three strings to translate to complete the gettext file. So, here it is, attached :)
-
Thank you, committed.
-
Hi there, thanks a ton for the new release! Here's the completed French translation :)
-
Thanks for the translations, too :)
-
Merci beaucoup...
