Hi,
ich hab ein Heimnetzwerk daheim. Und zwar Windows Clients, als Router
ein Suse 9.0 Sever.
Auf dem Linux Server läuft unter anderem ein Ftp, von dem aus man von aussen zugreifen kann.
Nun möchte ich die Freigaben der Windows Clients so mounten, dass ich per FTP drauf zugreifen kann. Eigentlich mit smbmount kein Problem, allerdings ist es unschön, wenn ich eine Freigabe gemountet habe und dann der PC ausgeschalten wird. Dies wäre ja noch verhinderbar, indem man ein Zeitlimit im mount befehl angibt. Allerdings will ich nun nicht jedesmal, wenn ich auf ein Windowsverzeichnis zugreifen will dieses manuell mounten.
Meine Frage ist nun:
Ist es möglich, ein Skript zu schreiben, dass im Hintergrund läuft und dann das entsprechende Verzeichnis auf eine bestimmte Zeit mountet, wenn man darauf zugreift. (über ssh oder ftp)
Sprich:
login: noname
cd Verz
{ping Winrechner}
falls ping negativ tue nichts
falls ping positiv mounte Freigabe auf z. B. 15 min.

you could add your smbmounts to the fstab for example.. that way they are always loadet at boot...
problem is that you would have also to place your windows password there in clear text...

There is no password, i think there is no need to protect the windows clients themselves, cause i think there is no way to break them from the internet.
I already thougt about to load them at the boot, but i could also do that with the script i already wrote to mount all the sources i want to mount, but there is still the problem that they are mounted when the windows computer shuts down.
