Hi,
I tried to compile rc8 today, but I crash with the following.
First my config:
ls -l /usr/bin/wx*
/bin/ls: /usr/bin/wx*: No such file or directory
ls -l /usr/local/bin/wx*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 46 Dec 22 20:37 /usr/local/bin/wx-config -> /usr/local/lib/wx/config/gtk2-ansi-release-2.5
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Dec 22 20:37 /usr/local/bin/wxrc -> wxrc-2.5
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 74170 Dec 22 20:37 /usr/local/bin/wxrc-2.5
The error:

if u compiled amule with --disable-debug --enable-optimize try the other way (--enable-debug --disable-optimize)
i think it will help
cheers
-
delta, pay attention to the posts :P
Don't enable amule-gui, it will not compile.
-
@delta:
Your tip leads to the following error.
Time for me to swith to Gentoo :-)

@kry:
thank you, maybe i had this option with configure. Now it worked (without debug, with optimize)

maybe the users should post the configure flags they use next time.. and isn't there a warning on amule-gui (configure --help) ?
cheers

Yes, I should have posted my config. And, you're right - there is a warning :]
But I didn't save my config output and didn't remember exactly the options I've chosen.
Otherwise I would have posted the config. :baby:
Anyway, now it works.
Thanks for your help!

Don't pay attention to delta, he just wants to blame everyone else
