podriais hacer el favor de crear un RPM oficial del Amule, de los WxGTK2?, aparte del que hay de los wxGTK en la seccion de descargas. para FedoraCore3.
o sino postear el script que se ha utilizado con dicho RPM, para poder crear yo el rpm del wxGTK2.

pues es que crear rpms de wxGTK es tarea o ien de los devs de wx o de las distros. seguramente ya existen rpms de wxgtk 2.6 para fedora. bueno, con "wxgtk2" supongo que quieres decir 2.6...

a ver.
en la seccion de descargas hay un paquete RPM llamado wxGTK-2.6.0-1.i586-FC3.rpm, que esta preparado para los paquetes Amule de Fedora. dicho paquete esta compilado para GTK1 (aunque ponga v 2.6.0, GTK1 v 2.6.0). y yo lo que pedia es si, el mismo que a creado ese paquete (o que digan de donde lo ha sacado) puede hacer otro pero compilado para GTK2.
es posible?

ah, ok. no se quien hizo el paquete. mira en la info del paquete rpm el mail del creador ;)
o busca en estos foros quien lo posteo (si es que nos llego a traves de los foros)

lo hizo deltaHF, pero dice que no tiene el spec file. sencillamente lo hizo con "checkinstall" (una utilidad UNIX).

podrias decirle a quen vaya a crear el RPM el Amule para FC4 (o FC3) que si ha tambien ha hacerlo con los WXGTK (GTK1) nuevos, q tambien cree un paquete hecho para los GTK2?

Hola, me gustaria saber como va el tema, porque tengo el Fedora Core 4, y no me corre el amule, me da este error:

Esto es por la version del wxGTK2 que no se como instarla.
PD: He instalado el amule con el yum:-> yum install amule y me bajo las dependencias de wxGTK.

de nuevo la misma respuesta: crear rpms de wx2.6 es cosa de la distro o de los devs de wx, que tiene que proveerla. Por ahora, te recomiendo compilar aMule tu mismo:

Hola, gracias por contestar, he estado compilando como dice en el manual para fedora core 3, y bien me he bajado los tres paquetes: wxGTK-2.4.2.tar.bz2, wxBase-2.4.2.tar.bz2, aMule-2.0.0rc8.tar.bz2.
He instalado como dice con yum install gettext-devel gtk+-devel curl-devel gd-devel las dependencias que podria necesitar.
Pero al hacer untar en wxGTK-2.4.2.tar.bz2 y luego "./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-gtk2" me sale esto:

y como verás sale un error. He instalado el gcc haciendo "yum install gcc" asi que deberia estar instalado el gcc.

algo esta muy muy mal en tu instslacion de wx.... pero que MUY mal :S "buscando wxwxFileProto"??? MUY mal ;) deberia buscar wxFileProto
te recomiendo que deshagas loq ue has hecho y busques RPMs para Fedora, como ya te dije antes ;) seguro que algun hay. pregunta en los foros de Fedora como lo han hecho otros usuarios.

y como deshago lo que hice?, con rpm -e? porque lo he intentado con rpm -e wxGTK y con rpm -e wxBase y me dice que no está instalado.

contestando al post anterior: si lo has compilado tu,y quieres borrarlo, debes ir a la carpeta de las sources del wxBase y wxGTK (en teoria se deberia te tenias que haber descargado un zip llamado "wxwidgets") y dentro de ellas hacer un "make uninstall" (desde consola con SU ).
aquí tienes lo necesario para instalar el aMule 2.0.3 (creo que solo tienes que instalar wxGTK , wxGTK-common, wxGTK-gl, wxGTK-stc, wxGTK-xrc. y si necesitas compilar algo el wxGTK-devel y wxGTK-common-devel. los paquetes wxGTK2 son para GTK2 :P. no se puede instalar los devels de wxGTK y wxGTK2 a la vez. solo te dejará uno de ellos (en el caso de compilar tu el aMule 2.0.3 instalar los de GTK1

Yo tengo una pregunta:
han actualizado los wxGTK de mi distro (FC4) a la version 2.6.2. pero solo hay paquetes para GTK2

he intentado compilar el aMule-cvs en modo GTK2 y no hay manera. al encender cualquier amule (alc, amuleweb, amulecli, etc etc) me da error de segmento.
con el paquete wxGTK 2.6.1 (aMule-cvs compilado en modo GTK2) no tenia ningun problema.
se esta pensando en actualizar el aMule para que solo trabaje en GTK2 y en esta version (2.6.2) y sucesivas??

no, amule-cvs actual trabaja con gtk1 y gtk2. lo unico que se ha dejado de soportar es wxgtk2.4.2
reinstala wx y amule (o recompila). prueba tambien a mover ~/.aMule, quizas hay algun archvo dañado y aMule muere por eso :S que espero que no hehe

ahora solo se enciende. cuando pulsas el boton de Trafico se cierra poniendome este mensaje:

Eso es porque usas el gtl-qt-engine para tu GTK, y es un bug en ese engine. Si pones un tema de gtk en vez de una emulacion de qt, no te cascará.

gtl-qt-engine no le tengo, pero si el gtk-qt-engine. es el mismo?
lo he desactivado (en vez de QT (para el theme bahira)) lo ke puesto un theme gtk (becurve-gnome) y ya no casca...
