i'm package maintainer of amule in archlinux. i just updated the pkg and did some tests. everything seems to work fine (note that i'm not a regular amule user and just tested for some minutes to find files, start download, delete files and shutdown amule again). interestingly, when i wanted to quit amule (2.1.2) by closing the window (windowmanager: kde), i got actually a crash (only detectable in console, as amule window disappears without any error). output here:
