amuleweb how can I connect to a server?
« on: June 23, 2006, 12:25:21 PM »

How can I connect to a server use amuleweb or amulecmd?

$ amulecmd
This is amulecmd 2.1.2
Enter password for mule connection:
Creating client...
Succeeded! Connection established to aMule 2.1.2

---------------------------------------
|          aMule text client          |
---------------------------------------
Use 'Help' for command list

aMulecmd$ connect 10.72.127.206:4321
 > Request failed with the following error: server not found: [10.72.127.206:4321]
aMulecmd$

So I can't connect to a server I need!
If I use amuleweb and Internet Explorer I can't to input address at all. Because amuleweb interface has no input line fo it!
Is it normally?

you can only connect to servers on the server list, add the server and tehn try to connect

How can I make the file "server.met" if I have to use amuled?

If I take the file from the windows version of aMule (with 1 server I need) and replace old one (absolutely empty) then Linux aMule write:
"1 servers in server.met found"
I run Internet Explorer, plug to amuleweb and nothing happened!
In this moment server.met become =0

What I do wrong?

maybe the server is dead and so aMule deletes it after trying to connect 2-3 times...

lol I see, its a LAN IP address, be default aMule will filters those
