Hi all!

I'm new to aMule but used eMule on Windows for quite a while...

After installing aMule on my Ubuntu system and getting it to run (which was not that easy) there still is a great problem. Each time aMule tries to connect to a server it almost immediately loses the connection. Port setup seems to be ok, since Port test page tells me so.

So any idea what I can do?

Here is a part of the log file. Maybe this helps you to find out what is going wrong here.

same problem here (mac os x, amule 2.1.3). Some times it work and some times, it go through all the server list, without connecting to any ->timeout.
My internet connexion works fine...

Try something radical: Remove all the servers from the server list and then add one manually: 213.186.60.106 port 4661. This is one server that seems to always work and it will upload a new server list to you.

If this doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas. Then it is probably some problem with the ports on your router or personal firewall or your ISP has started some form of traffic shaping.

Actually I fixed it with hostconfig trick which was posted in the mac os x forum.

if you need some tester, just ask
