Problems with UPnP
« on: December 19, 2007, 02:25:29 PM »

I have aMule CVS from December 18th, i activated the upnp support and when attempting to connect, amule displays this error:

Code: [Select]
2007-12-19 14:16:20: UPnP.cpp(89): Universal Plug and Play: error(CDynamicLibHandle): Unable to dlopen libupnp.so.3. Check PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
And UPnP does not work

Did I miss any package?

Thanks

Which version do you use? Does your router support Upnp?

Greets.

You can ignore the error, it will use libupnp.so.2 on your system unless there's an error message about this as well.

If UPnP doesn't work, try upgrading your version of linupnp - you can find the source at http://pupnp.sourceforge.net/

My Router DOES support UPnP.... i know it because is a function i have been using until now in azureus.
What im not 100% sure is if my router uses port 5000 (why should be a different one anyway?)
My amule version is CVS from December the 17th.

Thanks for the replyes
