Peak connections
« on: October 26, 2005, 06:49:45 PM »

Hello, I'm using amule 2.0.3 in Debian SID and I have configured max connections to 700

I have seen that I never reach that limit, and after days of use, I have only reached a peak of ~200 connections.

Is it normal? I usually download 10-15 files at one time and have 500 sources per file max. I'm on ADSL connection with 1MB/320KB

Thanks.

Good for you! You don't reach the limit!

I have limits at 200 (total) and 100 (per file) and I got peaks and sometimes I reach maximum number of connections (a VERY HIGH value than 200) and got SYN flood warning. I don't believe I being attacked, but I don't understand that behavior :(
Here there is a picture with peaks (I got peaks only in 'peak hours' generally)

Please, somebody got something similar?

Note: that settings I used long time ago with another versions of CVS amule(d) [currently using 12/12/07]
