Anyone got a Migration Guide from Shareaza to aMule?
« on: January 21, 2008, 05:54:00 AM »

I'm not sure i'm getting any benefit from Shareaza or its G1/G2 networks, and i do not know if they will impliment the newer KAD style network, so i'm trying to figure out how i can get aMule or eMule to read in all the .partial and .partial.sd files Shareaza has created into files that will hash and resume downloading in aMule or eMule, i prefer aMule...  i don't care too much about all the fiddley config files, just the data files should help me leave Shareaza...  Please advise or comment as if i'm a n00b.

the aMule importer does not work for the strange fileformat used by shareaza. I think the easier way is to create an ed2k network in your LAN: setup your own private server, and connect your clients to it. then search for your files and let amule download them from shareaza.

Regards.
