Let me in first place congratulate all the amule team for the excellent job they do.
I have been using amule for years. Same time ago, I owned a Via EPIA c7 1Ghz motherboard and I started to use amuled running on a Debian Lenny. It was the perfect combination.
One week ago I decided migrate to the new version of amuled 2.2.1. I downloaded the deb package from vollstreckernet.de. The installation process worked well and the new version is running without problems.
My question is about cpu load. With older versions of amuled the c7 load was about 15 to 20%. With version 2.2.1 the cpu load has increased dramaticaly to 40 - 50% with peaks of 90%. Please, has anyone observed the same behaviour? I'm not sure if there is a problem on the system or it is related to the new features added to the daemon.
