aMule + Windows 7 (x86) = LowID
« on: November 23, 2009, 11:46:48 PM »

Hi!

I use aMule 2.2.6 both on Linux (Ubuntu Karmic x86_64) and Windows 7 (x86).

To have a highID here I need to mark UPnP. The problem is that it's gay.

I tried go do the hack and set it to UPnPEnabled=1 in amule.conf, but with no luck, as it doesn't work anyway and goes back to zero when aMule is restared.

Just to mention, eMule and Frostwire are working fine, so the problem is restricted to aMule, but I love aMule and don't want to use eMule.

Any clue?

Thanks a lot!

There is no UPnP support in the Windows version. I know nothing about UPnP, and phoenix loathes Windows, so we are stuck here.  :)
Just forward the used ports in your router and it will work without UPnP.
