ed2k gives no results despite green arrows
« on: February 06, 2010, 04:05:04 PM »

Hi,

I think the title says it all:  I find almost no files when I do a local or global search. If I do a search with the same keywords on kademlia, I find way more files. I think this is very strange. I don't know what I have configured wrong. What should I check?

I have configured my router to pass the ports to my computer. I know that I have a High ID because the globe at the bottom-right of my aMule window shows two green arrows (according to the page http://wiki.amule.org/index.php/Getting_Started#High_and_Low_ID, this means I have a High ID).
I also have checked the box "Preferences > Connection > ED2K).
I am connected to the server us-64.34.168.34, port 6580, version 17.15 (lugdunum)

Thank you in advance for your help.

I use: aMule 2.2.5 on Mac OS X 10.6.2.

Bad server. Look here for instructions how to get a good server list.
Or just use Kad only, that's what I am doing.

Thank you! It seems to work much better now, indeed.
Great :-)
