aMule hangs after start
« on: January 06, 2005, 05:28:26 PM »

I start aMule. as long as there is no file to download selected, all runs properly.
If I search a file and double click it for downloading, aMule is not responding at all and needs more then 90% CPU. The GUI is not updated, it seems that the main loop is interrupted.
But I'm not sure about that.

I removed any existent configuration and started from scratch. Download Server, connect, search, select a file for downloading, amule hangs.

After restart it runs a few seconds, than it hangs.

Any ideas? What could I try?

installed by rpm or compiled by yourself?

what about wxgtk? from this site, from your distro or compiled by yourself?

(this forum is full of this questions, coz they solves 90% of the problems)

Hi,
aMule and wxWidgets it is compiled by myself.
wx-config says it is 2.4.2

It is a Suse 9.0 with KDE 3.3.

amule rc7 is running without any problems, rc8 is compiled with the same options.

Bye
