I'm using aMule-CVS-20061002.tar.bz2 compiled under ubuntu 6.06 with wxWidgets 2.6.1... ubuntu is running amuled, and I use winxp+sp2 with amule-gui for connecting to amuled.... so it's a pretty basic setup... amuled is configured to run kad-only...
when I add ed2k links with files over 4gb, the files are added correctly to the 'transfers' window.... a lot of sources are being found (the progress bar turns dark blue), but there does not seem to be *any* transfer going on, and all the files are stuck at 0% and 0MB transferred.... these files have quite many sources, so it's rather weird that there's nothing happening.... files below 4gb are downloading ok (ie sources found, and pretty soon after downloads start)...
what I've also noticed is that when I do a 'Local" search from amule-gui (when I have ed2k turned on), the search results will include files over 4gb in size... but when I do the same search in 'Kad' mode (with ed2k turned off) the search results only in files below 4gb...
can these two things be somehow connected ? it seems only logical that if kad can't find files over 4gb, then it probably can't transfer them in kad-only mode either ? ?(
