amule 2.1.0 - webserver doesn't work
« on: January 04, 2006, 02:49:01 AM »

Hi, i've tried to use the built in webserver (amule binary from berlios), but unfortunately the browser doesn't get any answer.
I've also recompiled with --enable-webserver option but no results at all.
Full rights password and all the stuff in remote controls panel is set properly, but "http://localhost:4711" seems to be always down (actually it happens with any port I've tried to enable). I know for sure that the rest of the system is ok, 'cause emule's webserver works with no changes.

Is it a bug?
Thanks

its not like emule where the webserver is started automatically, you have to lunch the extra programm amuleweb, or you have to enable "start amuleweb automatically" in the remote-control section in the amule-prefs
