Dear all,
In the "Connection" section in aMule there is a box call "Slot Allocation" just below "UPDLOAD case". Can Somebody could explain me in what it serve this? and How to set it optimally?? Also could anyone of you give me the perfect and the optimal "Connection setting" for a 256 KBps ADSL 1 Internet connection ( Shared with 25 computer )
?
Wish that some one could answer me....
See Ya...

Hi NiWoRsT,
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ_aMule#What_is_slot_allocation.3F
;-)
To outline: This is the speed with which aMule tries to upload to other clients.
Now, if you have an Upload of 256KiloByte/s and 25 computers (this is a lot...), I would recommend using about 200KB/s for aMule and a slot allocation of 25KB/s. If you have 256KiloBit, you have effectively 32KiloByte/s and should try with 20KB/s for aMule and a slot allocation of 5KB/s.
Edit: This sentence didn't make sense...
