How to backup amule?
« on: December 30, 2007, 12:08:09 AM »

Hi,

I would like to format my hard drive and backup my temporary incoming files and preferences.
Do I just have to copy the whole amule directory and then paste it to new installation?

Thanks

Just backup your .amule folder, which is inside your home folder, and then backup the temp folder of amule (by default is inside this .amule folder, but since it can be moved, I advice to back it up). Same for the incoming folder.

Regards.

They're all under ~/.aMule

I'll try it out, thanks.
