How to disable Gnome 'bug-buddy' on crash?
« on: October 30, 2008, 12:17:59 PM »

Hi all,

I run aMule continously, at for the most part it will go for a couple of weeks at a time, but ocassionaly it does crash. I launch aMule by means of a infinite script, which means that it should get restarted when it crashes. Unfortunately, crashes seem to be intercepted by Gnome bug-buddy, which then waits for user inuput, and interferes with my script.

Is there a way of getting aMule not to call bug-buddy when it crashes?

(I could swear I asked this already once here several years ago, because I once had the answer, but even after much searching I can't find the original thread).

I am running v2.2.2, compiled from src, under F9.

TIA
