Cannot show amule
« on: March 13, 2010, 08:42:09 PM »

Hi

I have being having some problems with amule. I use Kubuntu 9.10 with KDE 4.4.1.
The problem: Amule is working and minimized at the tray. When I click right-button and choose SHOW, Amule doesn't open the windows, but the SHOW changes to HIDE. Sometimes, when I do SHOW, the system kind of crashes (all the windows opened don't respond), and after a few seconds, everything opens at the same time.

What can be the problem?? Something with KDE? I think that before updating KDE, this didn't happened...

Thanks

If you take a look at statistics, did the actual uploading/downloading get halted momentary?

Probably wxWidgets interaction with KDE.

Or wx interacting with GTK2 interacting with KDE.

Everything looks good...

Probably wxWidgets interaction with KDE.

How to solve??

What I've done: disabled the option to minime to tray. It minimizes to the bar. This way, I have no problem....
