Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you know there is at least one person who misses precompiled packages for Ubuntu. ;)

First : Ubuntu - I'm not sure about what kind of linux it is but why RPM is not good enough ?

Even if it's not RPM based system you can use rpm --nodeps to force install.

Anyway, what kind of package this thing uses - enlight us :)

How did you installed wx ? If you used tar.gz - you can do it with mule too.

ubuntu is based in debian, it uses deb

but here is the surprise: THERE ARE AMULE APCKAGES FOR UBUNTU

julius malchovitch posted one to this forums. their are not official, since their haven't been done by anyone in the team, but they probably will work, please test it and report since it interests us very much.

It works very well! Great!

I suggest advertising the package a bit more. Ubuntu is a great distro, it deserves it. ;)
