I see no risk there, and most ed2k clients and clients of other p2p networks show he IP too.
If you can think of a real risk, it would surely be removed, but anyone who knows little about ed2k (not even need to know any programming language, just to read the ed2k FAQ), can know the IP of _anyone_ using high id. the only needed tool is a calculator

since the id is shown, hidding the ip is nonsense.
