A strange behaviour
« on: May 18, 2006, 04:59:42 PM »

I have tested:
amule 2.1.0 | wxGTK-2.6.2
amule 2.1.1 | wxGTK-2.6.3

amuleweb is compiled but not enabled, when download finished there is a strange behaviour because amule fork amuleweb for each file downloaded. The process forked consume a lot of cpu time.
Why it launch amuleweb when download is finished ?

8003  3.9  9.4  59744 48748 ?        Rs   15:42   1:22 amuled -f -i
8004  0.0  9.4  59744 48748 ?        S    15:42   0:00 amuled -f -i
8005  0.0  9.4  59744 48748 ?        S    15:42   0:00 amuled -f -i
8007  0.0  9.4  59744 48748 ?        S    15:42   0:00 amuled -f -i

After some downloads, some process looks like:
10468  86.7 16.5 ... amuleweb
10490  89.1 16.5 ... amuleweb

Need to restart after some downloads ...

Any suggestion or similar behaviour ??

uhhh funny

does this happen if you dont "autostart" amuleweb, but start it afterwards in a seperate shell with

amuleweb -q &

btw: when you try this, dont forget to create a remote.conf for password management etc

In its default setup, Windows XP on the Internet amounts to a car
parked in a bad part of town, with the doors unlocked, the key in
the ignition and a Post-It note on the dashboard saying, "Please
don't steal this."
