Hi,

since quite a few versions of amule it crashes all the time on my computer.

I have SuSE 10.0 with the latest updates, and amule 2.1.2 with the aMule-wxGTK-2.6.3-1.SuSE_10.0.i586.rpm.

I tried to run amule from a console to get some information, but mostly he only says "Processus arrêté".

Before crashing my computer gets unusable. The harddisk is working intensely.

Is there something I can do?

Just one more question:

this newly compiled version does not want to switch the language. What do I have to do to make this possible?

In any case, seems to have crashed inside gdk.

aMule switches languages according to the locale variables. You can switch "by hand" if you start aMule from a console like this:
$ LANG=en_US.UTF-8 amule &

Substituting en_US.UTF-8 for the locale you want.

Hi,

yes it was a crash. And as far as I remember gdb left a message with "segmantation fault".

Concerning the language "problem" I found out that I needed the gettext-tools installed. I didn't see this message before because it was not an Error :-)
It works now.

Meanwhile I have installed 2.1.3 and it still crashes. I already send one Backtrace, And I'll go on sending backtraces, until we have a stable version.

Ok, send backtraces, but I hope you read my posting about proper backtraces. Otherwise you will be just wasting our space and your time.

Those backtraces you have sent do not indicate a line of code inside any aMule source, so it will be *very* difficult to help you.
