Error : Your IP is part of ipfilter.dat file… ?
« on: June 14, 2006, 01:16:15 AM »

Good evening,
I am the one who update two days ago my 2.0.0 mule for the 2.1.2 as you encouraged me to get some answers from the servers.
(I'm on mac osx 10.3)
Well, it's almost working fine now, with may be less stability. And I noticed some little bugs without real importance : some button mistakes, choice of language errors, the account of downloads always wrong (below).
The thing I do like to ask is : the servers appear to be less confident with me now. The connection is often lost, then I'm often blacklisted. Why ? In my opinion I'am a good client… and when I am connected to one, I often see this on the log.

2006-06-14 00:33:27: Connection established on: http://www.UseNeXT.to
2006-06-14 00:33:28: New clientid is 951360601
2006-06-14 00:33:28: Error: http://www.UseNeXT.to (212.112.243.146:4661) -  : Your IP is part of ipfilter.dat file
2006-06-14 00:33:29: Saving of server-list completed.

Is this the symptom of something is going wrong ? (the connection seems normal, up and downloads are running as usual)
If you can explain that point, or give me some advice, thank you for your help.

What do you mean with "some button mistakes"? Do you mean that when right-clicking (or control-clicking) a tab, the wrong one is selected? That issue is fixed in 2.1.3 now. :)
Same is true for the messed up languages.

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer as to why IPs of your internet provider would be blacklisted by some servers. I tried googling the name of your provider + blacklisted + edonkey but pretty much all results are in hungarian, french or dutch.
