crash at start
« on: February 19, 2004, 09:26:26 PM »

What a luck to get a problem. I would'nt know about this forum  :]
Well. I usually change version of my mule during my change of my Mandrake's version : lmule, xmule and now amule.
I've always been happy with it. Sometimes it is difficult to run searches. But this time I don't know what to do.
The last thing I did was a search and it crashed. Restarting amule it soon crashed. No way to recover the usual start. Crash. So I think (but am I right ?) it's the last search which blocks. How to remove it ? What is the best to do ?

I tried to remove and install back 1.2.4 which is very fast with rpm. I also tried 1.2.6. Of course keeping all files and surely the wrong matter.
Thanks for ideas.

start -> crash -> start -.> crash .. looks like some broken met files .. try to move them all somewhere else and run then amule .. then put met after met in your temp dir and look when it crashes .. just remove the bad met and everything should be ok ..

greets

ps. if u post the load log, it would be easier to help you..
