Seach page icons - What are the little bombs?
« on: December 08, 2007, 08:18:49 PM »

What are the little bombs on the search page results?  At least, I think it's a bomb.

At first I thought they were popularity icons of some sort, but I have returns with no bombs sitting higher than returns with a smaller count, that have a bomb.

Most of the bombs are green, but some are showing up in orange or red now.

I looked and couldn't find anything in the FAQ or Wiki about search page icons, the only reference being to icon usage on other pages.

aMule 2.1.3 on Ubuntu Gutsy.

Many thanks,

Mmm, maybe some small icon is a bit difficult to understand...
Can you post a screenshot please?

It could be an ice cream cone.

But I think it's a bomb.

It does not appear to be based on the Sources column, so it must have to do with the quality of the connection.

The aMule wiki could use an update about these things.

Ah, ok... no bombs, don't worry... they should be little reverse exclamation marks!...
In fact those icons mean the file rating in the users' comments, you can find them explained here: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Comment_icon

However, all aMule icons are under revision by the team (and partially by me  ;)), as the upcoming aMule 2.2 will have skin support... so those icons will probably be replaced with nicer and -- hopefully -- self-explanatory ones!

Cheers
