aMule steals focus on startup
« on: June 14, 2007, 07:44:37 PM »

From https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amule/+bug/95715

"In edgy, "amule" application window steals focus on start.
Most of gnome applications behave correctly: when they
start a bit longer and user switch to other window/application,
then newly launched applications open on background.
But this is not the case of this application."

I agree with it, it's a bit annoying.
Of course, this is low priority, but it would be fine to change it.

Have a nice day
Emilio

Hi emilio,

Start aMule minimized ("start minimized" option) and this should be better.

I do it, but that's a workaround, and shouldn't be the 'final solution'  ;)

This is still valid for 2.2.0-pre as of 20080218.

Even if you consider such behavior as a bug (which is questionable), it's toolkit (WX) fault.
