I checked it out and my firewall is off and amule still gives me a low id

I use a IP number as you said, i use 192.168.1.136, but it doesn't work

Once you have your (manually entered) static IP, then you use THAT  address to set up your custom port forwarding setting for your modem.  That instantly gave me a high ID once all my ports were in order.

Skolnik posted this reply elsewhere that seems to fit:
..You should configure your router to forward the aMule ports to your (Mac). Go to www.portforward.com, search for your router brand and model (or another similar one) and configure it. You should forward three ports: TCP port, UDP port (both configurable in the options) and the Server UDP port (Its number is fixed to TCP+3, which ever your TCP port number is).

thank you, I already did that, but amule still said it is firewalled, I also tried with Bit Tyrant, but it said the same, could be a posibility that the modem connected to the router has a firewall too?
