If by clicking you mean "I opened the context menu, selected 'Cancel' and confirmed it." then no, you have to re-download the file.

If not, then it would be interesting to know more about the clicking: where, how, what happened?

No, I didn't cancel it.  I know how that works.

You know how the categories are along the top of your files being downloaded.  Well, I was going to rearrange the order.  I clicked on the "file names" category to drag it to the left, and it just disappeared.

So now I still have the rest of the categories, such as status, priority, sources, etc., but I can't see the name of the file being downloaded.  Until a file is complete, I don't know which file I'm downloading.

Has this happened to others?

Ah, now I understand.

Right click (or hold ctrl while clicking on a Mac) on the list header (where the 'categories' are), a menu will pop up allowing you to (de)select certain columns. Click on the line "file name" and it should re-appear.
