Just click on the above link, check the translation status and know why no one's working on the translation. (Hint: It is finished. ;) )

I'm currently working on polish translation. It seems that it's little abandoned, isn't it?
I'll make a new topic for pl 2.2.0 version when I'm done ;)

Hi, i'd just like to warn you that the Italian (Switzerland) (it_CH) translation is a fake! Some unfunny joker translated it using unfunny neapolitan dialect (i don't know the Switzerland dialect, but i know neapolitan, it's quite different) :\

P.S.: do the translations need to be ALL completed BEFORE the 2.2.0 will be released? :O

Hi! I'm new here, and I have noticed that there is two files to spanish translation. ???
Is there any reason to have two spanish translations?
I live in Uruguay, a litle country in Latin Amercia, and I'm sure that in Mexico speak the same spanish.
I wanted to collaborate in the translation, but surely it will be just as the other. :-\

Spanish translation is complete:
I've being reading some lines and I found some errors, like translating "resume" for "resumir", instead of "reanudar", that would be the correct one.

Would you kindly correct these mistakes and attach the corrected translation somewhere in the forums?

@gaglia: Does it mean that the language is not it_CH, but it_nap or is the content completely different?

Hi,

Try poedit. On the drupal translation page they advice using version 1.3.5, because there were problems with 1.3.6.

The language is not it_CH, it is a dialect used in Naples and the surrounding territory. The content is quite OK in this translation.

EDIT: neapolitan is often used in funny ways, like cabaret shows, B-movies etc

I took a look at the it_CH file and it looks like an alternate Italian translation, nothing to do with neapolitan dialect and the like. Maybe the playful edit was rolled back. I think the two translations could be merged, but that's all.

The translation was updated in the meantime and the translator describes it as an it.po with minor modifications. See http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=13351.0

Actually there shouldn't be the need for a translation for dialects or variants of a language (e.g. en_UK will be understood by Americans as well), but I don't know about an official policy about this. Kry?
