Resume downloading the most complete file first
« on: September 05, 2007, 10:26:04 AM »

Unfortunatly it is still a complete mistery for me, what paused file will be contiened to download after an other will be finished, if you have tick the option. (Wild guess, it will contine to download the file with the lowest part number.)

But I would suggest, that you contine to download the file that is most finished. This could be very handy if you had previous run out of diskspace and than make space.

E.g. a user has three files in his download. Each file is 1 GB big. He has 500 MB left on his harddrive.
File A is nearly finish
file B is 0% complete and is paused
C is 90% complete and is paused

The normal behaviour (if contined paused files if one file is complete is tick) would be that after completing file A, aMule would try to download file B, but since it would run out of disk space it would stop downloading all files.

My suggestion is that than the most compelte file will continue. Resulting that file C will download when file A is finished and only after finishing file C aMule would try to resume file B (and would stop downloading since it run out of space, too.)

I would suggest to make this optional and make resume file in alpabetical order an other option.
