Leopard OS incompatability...
« on: December 04, 2007, 08:00:47 PM »

There seems to be something wrong with aMule and Leopard.  I had been running it previously with Tiger successfully for months, and was very pleased.  HighID and the whole bit.  As someone who migrated over from a PC, it was comforting to know I could use aMule on a MAC.

Now since upgrading to Leopard, I cannot even get aMule to run.  I have uninstalled it 3 times and reinstalled it, with no success.

I assume there is a significant incompatibility issue with the OS and aMule.  Anyone have any advice, or news on a fix?

Thanks.

Could you give us any details?

Which version of aMule are you trying to run and where did you download it? What's the output when you try to start in a terminal?

It works perfect for me... HighIP, lots of fonts, low ping, etc. There“s just a problem, only 30 save servers. But of course this is not a problem of compatibility between Leopard and aMule. Anyway, good luck

PD. Try to tune your LAN/WLAN IP and also the DNS
