problems in twm window manager
« on: March 26, 2004, 11:11:42 AM »

hi,

I'm using aMule on twm window manager (redhat 8).  My problem is that no text
is displayed in aMule windows (Servers, Searches, Transfers, ...). Actually there
are items in those windows, but not displayed. For eample I have servers list in
Servers window, I also have some downlods in Transfers window (see pic)

I had no problems with installation and I also don't get any error messages
 when starting aMule.

Any ideas why? Maybe some fonts are missing on my box (which)?

regards bruma

I installed aMule from rpms (point B) in
!!! aMule compilation / installation HOWTO

so I guess it's linked to gtk2

I also tried lmule and had same problem!

And that one is the problem: you tried lmule before. The good thing of being a former lmule/xmule dev is you remmber most of the bugs lol.

You have the columns hidden. either use right-click on the only column shown and strts checking columns on the menu, or rm you .eMule file.
